Graham Wilkinson

GrahamGraham has become one of New Zealands' most successful complementary health practitioners.  He is the person people are turning to when they have tried everything else.

Twenty years ago  Graham's had his own very significant health challenges that spanned across ten years.  He went to many health professionals with limited or no success in getting better and he endured the psychological wars with the various government departments, to eventually realise that there must be another way, other people, other health modalities and other information.

It was this experience and realisation that led him on the biggest and exciting learning curve of his life.  The information and knowledge he discovered, he applied to himself and today he lives a full, healthy, happy quality life.

Graham decided to give up a lucrative career to apply his learning and also to train in complementary health modalities.  He has spent thousands and travelled throughout New Zealand and around the world to access the best and latest training, research and information.  Today he draws for this solid foundation of experience and expertise to use with everyone he works with.

Those willing to work with Graham in a joint venture will improve their health and wellbeing.  He is the man people turn to when they have tried everything else.

Graham grew up in the Waikato region and it was here he began his working life as a farmer.  This experience over 20 years has stongly influenced his practice today.  His fascination with animal husbandry, nutritional interventions and mineral supplements to get and keep animals well gave him extraordinary insights.  This experience has not gone to waste in his quest for learning and finding information about wellness, bodywork, internal and external influences that affect the body, mind and spirit.

The first profound influence early in his farming life was Gladys Reid and her experience of when she added zinc to the drinking water for her calvesthat resulted in the eradication of facial eczema.  This was hotly debated at the time.  Graham had had many animals die from this disease and with nothing to loose he too added zinc to the water; the disease disipated and the animals became well.  Today science (and agriculture institutions) fully endorse this practice and know that zinc does prevent facial eczema.

Graham was one of the first people in New Zealand to introduce and import stags for his deer farm.    This resulted in a highly successful and healthy herd and influenced deer farming throughout New Zealand.  It also gave Graham the confidence to follow his heart.  Graham's time in farming ended through a series of events and consequences, and as life does, provided new challenges and experiences.

For the next ten years Graham had a completely different career which ended with a car accident from which Graham suffered a significant brain injury. It was this accident that was the beginning of a painful journey where his health deteriorated in all aspects of his life and at all levels of his mind, body and spirit.

Back then the treatment of head injuries was not well known, understood or accepted, and the government organisations were less than sympathetic to such injuries.

When Graham was probably at his lowest and dealing with constant headaches a chance visit from a friend proved to be life changing.  This friend was a  Bowen Therapist.  From one treatment Graham experienced instant relief and was overwhelmed with the skill and simplicity of what had just occured.  He continued to have regular treatments until one day the friend annouced that Graham had better train in Bowen himself as he was leaving town.  This is exactly what he did and a new journey began.

This new career and vocation continues today.  Not only has Graham trained in Bowen Therapy, he has added other modalities; Bodytalk,  Emmet Technique, Chinese Medicine, Nutrition, Energy Medicine, good old common sense plus well researched health and wellness practices.

Graham set up the Baywide Bowen Clinic in the Bay of Plenty and successfully ran this practice for eight years before moving to Wellington in August 2008.  Before leaving this clinic he had introduced PIP - Polycontrast Interference Photography, technology to measure and monitor the human energy field.

Graham was now adding state of the art technology, the first of its kind in New Zealand for the benefit and added value of his clients.   This technology allows the client to see for themselves their areas of 'ease' and 'dis-ease' in the body.   He travelled to India to learn more and train in PIP technology and has formed a partnership with Dr Thornton Streeter CEO of the Centre for Biofield Sciences (CBS), India and the UK.   CBS is a certified by ISO 13485-2003.

PIP - the first of its kind in New Zealand.  Again the innovator was coming to the fore and trusting his instinct, he went off to learn more, study and train in PIP imaging through the Centre for Biofield Sciences at the World Peace Centre, India, with CBS CEO Dr Thornton Streeter.

In August 2008 Graham and his wife Mandy set up the Healthwise Energy Centre in Wellington, New Zealand.  The centre is an culmination of all of Graham's experience, expertise and new technological advances for a complete holistic assessment and integrated approach to healthcare and wellness.

So today Graham provides treatments that are unique and are tailored meet individual need.  He assesses the whole person and treats the whole body.  Graham is the man people are turning to when they have tried everything else.
